Senior Social Corner is a social media platform designed for senior citizens ages 55 and older. The goal
of the platform is to visually connect our senior citizens with a community of their peers to discuss
topics of everyday life. This platform has been created to honor and uplift the senior population by
opening the lines of communication and offering a platform that is combined with something new (a
platform just for senior citizens) with something familiar (visual communication), and hopes of providing
a solution to feelings of loneliness, isolation, neglect, abuse, and financial hardship in the senior
population.
Senior Social Corner serves as an advocate for the Senior population and stands firm on elder abuse,
neglect, loneliness, isolation, independence and overall senior wellness.
This visual media platform hosts countless group topics such as Gardening, Music, Life in Retirement, Meet & Greet Saturdays, Fitness Over 55, Caring for a Loved One, Pets, Inspiration, Live interviews, and more!
